From the Tech World to the Open Road
Helmet on, throttle open – I’m Vivien, founder of vivomoto,
motorbike guide, and passionate about switchbacks, alpine passes,
and the freedom on two wheels.
After years in the tech industry, I knew I needed more: more outdoors, more freedom, more adventure.
So in 2024, I traded my laptop for my BMW F750 GS and finally did what I had talked about for years: I hit the road.
What started with solo rides through the Alps quickly turned into bigger adventures — from the North Cape and the Balkans all the way to Patagonia.
I’ve been riding motorcycles since 2018 — starting on a Kawasaki ER6N, later moving to a Z650. After a 10-day road trip through the French Alps to Nice, one thing became clear: I needed an adventure bike. In March 2023, I got my BMW F750 GS — and my expeditions have not stopped since.
Today, I combine all of these experiences with something I’ve always loved:
guiding people, building confidence, and creating meaningful experiences.

More than just riding motorbikes
Before founding vivomoto, I worked as a manager in the tech industry — first at the global consulting company Accenture, and later at the international software company Snowflake.
My work wasn’t only about projects and strategy. It was about people: building teams, coaching consultants, and helping others grow in confidence, clarity, and independence.
Over time, I realised that these same themes appear on the road — especially when traveling by motorcycle.
Because real adventure has very little to do with perfection.
It begins the moment we learn to trust ourselves.
Over the last 10+ years, I’ve spent a lot of time traveling solo and in groups — on foot, with a backpack, or on a motorcycle — across Europe, North and South America, Asia and Africa.
Not every journey was on two wheels, but every single one taught me what truly matters:
staying calm in difficult situations, preparing well, trusting your decisions, and finding your own path far away from home.
Those experiences shape every vivomoto tour today.

For me, guiding is about more than just beautiful roads and unforgettable places — it’s also about responsibility, staying calm in challenging situations, and creating an environment where people feel safe, supported, and confident throughout their adventure.
Why I do this
I know what it feels like to travel alone — especially as a woman.
The questions.
The uncertainty.
But also that incredible feeling of freedom, clarity, and self-confidence.
And that’s exactly what I want to create for others: space to grow beyond themselves — on two wheels, in a supportive group, backed by real experience.
Because for me, travel is about far more than beautiful landscapes and winding roads.
It’s about connecting with people, collecting stories, discovering new perspectives, and learning more about yourself along the way.
I truly believe motorcycle travel has a unique kind of power: it takes us out of our comfort zones — and into real life.
And that’s exactly why vivomoto exists: to create safe, personal, and authentic adventures filled with heart.
We don’t just ride roads.
We collect stories, trust, and memories that stay with us long after the journey ends.
And maybe you won’t just come home with great photos — but feeling a little stronger, freer, and more confident too.
Ready for your own adventure?
Whether you’ve already ridden thousands of kilometers or you’re just getting started — you’re welcome at vivomoto if you’re looking for more than just another beautiful road.
Where will your journey take you?
